Metered Fare*

From 24 March 2026 to 31 May 2026, there will be a temporary increase of $0.01 to the Distance‑Time Rate for metered taxi trips.

ComfortRIDE*

  • Prevailing ERP charges are payable on top of the ComfortRIDE fare and automatically added to the total fare at the end of the trip.

  • For ComfortRIDE bookings, drivers are entitled to choose the quickest or most direct route as suggested by GPS navigation.
  • For Metered Fare bookings, passengers have the option to select the route upon boarding the taxi. In the absence of specific instructions from the customer, the driver is obligated to follow the most direct route to fulfill the journey, in accordance with the Road Traffic Act.
  • For pickup and drop-off locations beyond the ground floor, passengers are instructed to wait at the designated pickup point or will be dropped off at the designated dropoff point corresponding to the postal code, even if the booking designates a different level. For instance, at Woodleigh Mall, passengers should wait at the designated pickup point or will be dropped off in Basement 1. In cases where the building lacks a specified pickup point or dropoff point, passengers are advised to wait at street level or will be dropped off at street level, regardless of the booking indicating a higher floor, such as Level 4 Sin Ming AutoCity. 
  • Drivers may impose an additional $5 charge for deviations from the exact pick-up location stated in the booking, such as requests for pick-up at guard houses or mall pick-up points. It is mandatory for drivers to inform passengers before applying any additional surcharge.

Cross-Border Booking Fare: Singapore ↔ Malaysia

With effect from 4 May 2026, cross‑border taxi services between Singapore and Malaysia will offer expanded drop‑off coverage and revised fare structures. Trip distance and total fare will be shared before booking confirmation.

From 24 March 2026 to 31 May 2026, an additional $0.80 Driver Fee will be applied to all Cross‑Border trips.

Return-trip hotline bookings (MY → SG) will be discontinued. Passengers can join the taxi queue at Larkin Terminal for trips back to Singapore.

Surcharges

From 24 March to 31 May 2026, a Driver Fee will apply to fixed‑fare trips, $0.50 for fares below $15 and $0.80 for fares of $15 and above. Applicable for bookings via Zig by ComfortDelGro, PayLah, and Kris+, all Cross Border jobs, Limousine Car Services (excluding Guarantee Arrival, Guarantee Departure, and One Way Transfer via Call Centre), and hourly disposal services (charged per chargeable hour).
