What is Zig Driverless?
Zig Driverless is Singapore’s first public autonomous shuttle service, operated by ComfortDelGro. Think of it as a regular ride without a human driver steering the wheel. Instead, the vehicle uses smart technology to move safely and smoothly on the road.
Is It Safe?
Safety is our top priority.
Here’s how Zig Driverless keeps everyone safe:
Follows traffic rules, signals, and speed limits.
Always keeps a safe distance from other vehicles and pedestrians.
May brake or stop earlier than a human driver because being cautious is safer.
If something unexpected happens, the shuttle will stop safely, switch on hazard lights, and alert our support team right away.
On top of this, we have workedwith regulators and insurers to put in place full passenger insurance, just like regular taxis and buses.
