23 July 2015 – There’s no such thing as being too busy to show others you care – at least not for a group of students from Bishan Park Secondary School. Anchoring on a strong belief to “value every individual”, the students have decided to give thanks to about 150 ComfortDelGro cabbies.

The students, comprising mainly Secondary Three students, will be “staking out” ComfortDelGro Taxis’ premises today and tomorrow to distribute thank-you notes from the public and goodie bags containing free vouchers, anti slip mats and transdermal patches.

This “kindness wave” initiative is being conducted as the school’s entry for the Singapore Kindness Movement’s annual Kindness Badge Award. The students had wanted to express their appreciation to cabbies through a thoughtful gesture and decided to get members of the public to pen down their thanks earlier this month. In all, more than 150 thank-you notes have been collected.
