21 December 2015 – ‘Tis the season to be jolly – and so it shall be for members of the Handicaps Welfare Association (HWA).
On 25 December 2015, ComfortDelGro Taxis will donate 50 cents for every completed booking job to HWA. A total of $30,000 is expected to be raised for the charity with proceeds being channelled towards its transportation needs, including ferrying members to work, school and to the hospital for their medical checks.
Said Mr Yang Ban Seng, CEO of ComfortDelGro Taxis: “Christmas is the season of giving, and by organising this Christmas Charity Drive, our cabbies and commuters will join us in contributing to the less fortunate.”
