Does ComfortDelGro Taxi conduct the TDVL Course?

ComfortDelGro is one of three appointed training centres that can conduct not only the TDVL Course but also the Private Hire Car Driver’s Vocational Licence (PDVL) Course and the Taxi Refresher Course.

How much is the TDVL Course?

The TDVL Course fee is $294.25. More than 80% of the course fee can be offset by your SkillsFuture credits while the remaining can be paid in cash or by NETS.

How do I sign up for the TDVL Course with ComfortDelGro Taxi?

You may enrol for the TDVL Course via our online platform here. Alternatively, you can register at our counter at Level 1 of the CityCab Building located at 600 Sin Ming Avenue, Singapore 575733.

What do I need to sign up for the TDVL Course?

To sign up for the TDVL Course with us, you would need to have an approval letter from the Land Transport Authority (LTA), original copies of your medical and X-ray reports as well as your NRIC and a valid driving licence. To obtain the approval letter, you would have to submit your educational certificates, your NRIC and a valid driving licence to LTA.

How long would it take for me to complete the TDVL Course?

The TDVL Course is conducted over a period of two days. Lessons are conducted in classes from 8.30am to 5.30pm during these two days.

In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, how is the TDVL Course conducted?

Applicants who have successfully enrolled in our TDVL Course will have to attend the two-day course conducted at Level 4 of our Training Hub at the CityCab Building that is located at 600 Sin Ming Avenue in person. As part of safe management measures, we keep the class size small so that safe distancing can be observed. Applicants will have to don on masks and have their temperatures checked. They will also have to scan the Safe Entry QR Code before entering the building.

What should I do after completing the TDVL Course?

You should go for the TDVL test and upon passing it, take up the 12-day rental-free driving scheme with ComfortDelGro Taxi. Under this scheme, you can test out taxi-driving before you make us your choice taxi operator. We currently provide 12 to 24 months rental contract schemes that offer cabbies a substantial amount of monetary incentives. To register for your course, you may either register through online www.cdgtaxi.com.sg by using only computer or Laptop or walk into 600 Sin Ming Avenue, CityCab Building Level 1, Singapore 575733, from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5.30 pm. (No appointment needed)

What could do after I have obtained my vocational licence?

For Taxi Driving: You can take up the 12 days free rental with a $200 fuel credits monthly for 12 month. We currently provide 6 months to 12 months rental contract schemes with a $1,000* security deposit top up by the Company and $500* completion bonus.
