20 April 2017 – In just 10 days, the number of flat fare bookings have crossed the 100,000- mark, a testimony to the growing popularity of ComfortDelGro Taxi’s latest offering.
The milestone was reached on the morning of 19 April 2017 and the passenger – Ms Neeta Ghosh – was rewarded with a $200 fare credit and 2,000 Cabpoints. She had moved to Singapore in January this year and had booked the ComfortDelGro taxi to send her child to school.
She said: “I send my kid to school every morning and do so by booking a cab via the ComfortDelGro App. Since flat fares started last Monday, taxi fares are quite fixed at about $10.50 as compared to the past where I am unsure of the amount which varies. It is more convenient for me now to set aside the amount I need to pay for these taxi trips.”
