CASHLESS PAYMENT & PROMO CODES

Our App accepts in-app cashless payments such as major credit/debit cards, Masterpass and Cabcharge.
Users can add their credit/debit cards into the ComfortDelGro Taxi Booking App and pay for both booking and street hail trips using these in-app cashless payment methods. Just to go "Manage Payment" and select "Credit Card" to start adding your credit/debit cards into the App.
A pre-authorisation check is a temporary check made to ensure that your credit/debit card is validated and there is enough funds so that we are able to charge the fare to your credit/debit card. It is not part of the fare. The bank may sometimes reflect the pre-authorisation amount as "pending" or "unposted" during the interim. It will then reverse it out when its holding period has elapsed. The amount will not be reflected in your final statement for payment. Please note, however, that reversal by foreign banks may take approximately one to two working weeks.
All in-app cashless payments for both taxi booking and street hail jobs will be subjected to pre-authorisation checks.
A pre-authorisation amount will be made to the bank to ensure that your card is validated and there is enough funds in your account for the trips. The pre-authorisation amount will not be deducted from your bank account.
Once the trip is completed, only the final fare amount is charged. The pre-authorisation amount is not part of the fare and the bank will reverse it in full when its holding period has elapsed. The reversal by foreign banks may take approximately one to two working weeks.

MasterPass is a digital wallet developed by MasterCard that allows you to go both cashless and cardless on ComfortDelGro taxis.

You need to first connect with Masterpass in the ComfortDelGro Taxi Booking app. Here’s how you do so:

1. Visit masterpass.com to sign up;
2. Download the ComfortDelGro Taxi Booking App (available from App Store and Google Play Store) if you haven’t already done so;
3. Open the ComfortDelGro Taxi Booking App and select ‘Masterpass’ under “Manage Payment”;
4. Pair your Masterpass wallet to the ComfortDelGro Taxi Booking App;
5. Once completed, you can book a ride and select your preferred Masterpass card under “Select Payment Mode” to process your next taxi booking.

NETS Click is a new in-app payment option that allows consumers to use NETS bank cards from DBS, OCBC and UOB to conveniently pay for both booking and street hail trips with ComfortDelGro taxis via the ComfortDelGro Taxi Booking App.

You need to first add your NETS bank card to the ComfortDelGro Taxi Booking App. Here’s how you do so:

1. Download the ComfortDelGro Taxi Booking App (available from App Store and Google Play Store) if you haven’t already done so;
2. Open the ComfortDelGro Taxi Booking App and add your NETS Bank Card under the "Manage Payment" section;
3. Authenticate your identity by keying in the one-time password sent to your registered mobile number;
4. Once completed, you can book a ride and select NETS Click under “Select Payment Mode” to process your next taxi booking.

For street hail trips, select the "Pay for Street Hail" option on the ComfortDelGro Taxi Booking App and select NETS Click as your payment method. You can scan the QR Code on the taxi's cashless payment terminal or key in the taxi number to pair the trip to NETS Click.

Our deepest apologies that the driver had not done so. Our drivers have been told that the final metered fare should be the one reflected on the Mobile Data Terminal (MDT) and not the meter. The metered fare displayed on the MDT would have taken into account the promo code discount. Yes, you can view the promo codes that you are eligible for when you select ComfortRIDE. Select the promo code you wish to use before you confirm the booking.
