How Do I Book A Taxi To Larkin Terminal, Johor Bahru?

Starting from 25 September 2025, you can book by calling our 24/7 hotline at 6552 1111.

Can I Book A Return Trip From Johor Bahru Back To Singapore?

No. The service currently only covers one-way trips from Singapore to Larkin Terminal, JB.

Can I Make Advance Bookings?

Yes. You can request an immediate trip or book up to 24 hours in advance, subject to availability of cross-border taxis.

Can I Book Through The Zig App?

App bookings will be available in the future. We will announce once this feature is ready.

Driver Fee

What is the Driver Fee?

The Driver Fee is a temporary charge added to eligible trips to support drivers with higher operating costs. The full amount collected goes directly to the driver.
It is separate from the metered fare, distance‑time fare, platform fees, and surcharges, and applies only during the stated period. The
Driver Fee applies to fixed-fare trips: $0.50 for fares below $15, and $0.80 for fares of $15 and above. 

Which jobs are applicable for the Driver Fee?

  • Bookings via Zig by ComfortDelGro/PayLah/Kris+ 
  • All Cross Border Jobs  
  • Limousine Car Services (excluding Guarantee Arrival/Guarantee Departure/One Way Transfer via Call Centre)  
  • Hourly disposal services (charged per chargeable hour) 

When will the Driver Fee Charge take effect?

The changes take effect from 24 March 2026, 12:00am.

Will the Driver Fee Charge be Permanent?

No. These are temporary measures from 24 March 2026 to 31 May 2026. The situation will be reviewed before the end of this period.

Fares & Payment

How Much Does It Cost?

  • Pick up from anywhere in Singapore (except walk in at Ban San Street Terminal, Changi & Seletar Airports): S$80 flat fare 
  • Pick up from Changi Airport or Seletar Airport: S$120 flat fare 

Is There Any Additional Fee (E.G. ERP, Carpark, Midnight Surcharge, Or Extra Stops)?

From 24 March 2026 to 31 May 2026, an additional $0.80 Driver Fee will be applied to all cross‑border trips. No other extra charges apply.

Can I Book A Ride From Ban San Street Terminal And Still Enjoy The $60 Fare?

No. The S$60 fare is only applicable for walk-in passengers who queue at the taxi stand at Ban San Street Terminal. Call bookings are not allowed from this location.

What Are The Payment Methods Accepted?

Payment can be made by cash or cashless methods via the in-vehicle terminal. Please note that a standard administrative fee applies to cashless transactions.

Can I Make Cashless Payment Upon Arrival In JB (Larkin)?

For smooth processing, please complete cashless payment before crossing the border. There might be network connectivity issues which may affect payment to process successfully.

Will Fares Change If There’s A Traffic Jam?

No. The flat fare applies regardless of traffic conditions.

Which Checkpoint Will The Taxi Use?

All cross-border taxis will use Woodlands Checkpoint only.

Can I Request A Drop-Off At Other Locations In JB, Such As City Square?

No. Drop-off is strictly at Larkin Sentral, JB.

Can I Request Multiple Pick-Up Points In Singapore?

No. Only one pick-up location in Singapore is allowed. 

Comfort & Capacity

How Many Passengers Can A Cross-Border Taxi Take?

Each taxi can take up to 4 passengers. For groups of 5 or more, please book additional taxis (subject to availability).

How Much Luggage Can I Bring?

A standard taxi boot fits up to two large suitcases (approx. 27–29 inches in length  each).

Do I Need To Alight At Customs Clearance?

No. You can enjoy seamless clearance at both checkpoints without leaving the taxi.

Are The Drivers Familiar With JB Routes?

Yes. All cross-border taxi drivers are licensed and trained to navigate routes in Johor Bahru.

Will These Taxis Have A Special Sticker Or Colour?

Yes, Taxis with licence will have a SIN-JB sticker issued by Singapore-Johore Taxi Association (SJTOA) in car.
